JaQuan Lyle off the board

That's exactly my point. We had 2 highly regarded Indiana kids to go after and crean spent all if his time going after the wrong kid.

Well we went after Blackmon Jr hard and guess what…….WE GOT HIM.

Blueitt made it known that he wanted nothing to do with IU and the same could be said with Lyle

The real question is , if he hasn't even been admitted to the school yet, how would he academically be able to play this year. We are over a month into the academic year so he would've missed over a month of school and classes. Athletes get it real nice in college. All the benefits. Oh but wait, they are being deprived and the schools are taking advantage of these kids blah blah blah blah blah

Where is this notion that bluiett wanted to be the man coming from? Is that substantiated? I honestly don't know but doesn't seem to jive with his interest in MSU and his commitment to UCLA.

How doesn't it "jive" with the whole idea he chose to not go to MSU and he decommitted from UCLA. He chose Xavier, where he will start from day 1 and be the man on the team. The kid can score no doubt. I saw him play with the Indiana all stars and I counted the number of times he passed in the half court offense….big fat 0. I know its an all star game but the rest of the squad was still playing team ball. He has a great game but definitely is a me first type player. This is another classic example of a kid having no interest in even coming to Indiana and all people want to do is blame Crean for something.

you didn't answer the question and continued to make assumptions. Sometimes people just want to make assumptions to fit their agenda.

Well you answered your own question. You said his "wanting to be the man" didn't jive with his interest in MSU and his commitment to UCLA. Well I don't know if you knew this but he chose Xavier, not MSU, not UCLA, not anywhere where he is really going to have to compete to get his shots or comets to get into the starting lineup. Sorry I can't seem to pull up any article that has a direct quote from Bluiett saying "Yes, in fact dear sir, I desire to be the number one option and not play under anyone". But if you watch the way he plays and how his whole recruitment went down, its pretty easy to make some pretty strong "assumptions". After all we are on a message board where everyones post are 99% assumptions……...

He did, he said he watched an all star game.  Man, a player looking selfish in an all star game, I'm shocked.  That's never happened before.

You evidently didn't read my post very well….I added in there that I know it was just an all star game. but when all the other players were looking to set each other up the whole game, then you have ONE player out of both squads that doesn't want any part in sharing the rock, its just an interesting thing to notice. I forgot that everyone else here backs up their claims with facts. Oh wait…...

99% opinions, not assumptions masked as facts. There is a big difference. Had you phrased it as an opinion, nobody would have a problem with it but you stated it as a fact like you spoke to him or it was published somewhere. In my opinion, this has never been substantiated and just something rainbow pumpers have made up to rationalize our lack of effort/interest and inability to land a top Indiana kid.

And yes, I am aware that he was very interested in MSU who always has quality guards and committed to UCLA who has a lot of quality guards and both sweet sixteen quality teams. If he was only interested in being THE man then why were these two teams in his top 3? It's like saying a kid picked his school because he wanted to play for a nike school but he had 2 Adidas schools in his top 3 and making the claim about nike only after he commits to the one Nike school.

Btw, Xavier is no slouch and has been a pretty tough team over the last decade plus.

Yeah, and if you don't like them, they'll fight you.
