bstall76 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 These latest few names makes me think Howard and Milton are off the board. I hope you are not right about that. If that is the case we are in trouble. Another offer to an unranked player is not a good sign. Starting front court 2015, Priller, April, and Anunoby. Shoot me now. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

We're recruiting 77 year old Juwan Howard to come relive his glory days in the B1G!! Disclosure: I have to correct myself most of the time myself and I have a conversation about him. I use Howard 99% of the time before I catch myself. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners ccgeneral 1 Quote

JSHoosier Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Crean loves wings that can jump. He'd probably offer a player that had literally never even seen a basketball as long as they were the size of a wing and could jump. Quote

Hutch89 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 somewhat positive perspective here...http://www.btpowerhouse.com/recruiting/2014/8/4/5969233/recruiting-hoosiers-offer-2015-sf-ogugua-anunoby"Anunoby missed most of his junior season in high school due to injury which also cost him some of the AAU season. He has come back late this summer and played extremely well which led to offers from other high major programs like Iowa and Kansas State."Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 If Crean strikes out in 2015 the same way he did to finish 2014, I am 100% firmly in the fire Tom Crean Club. This is absolutely ridiculous. His saving grace is recruiting and he has been getting pummeled for a year. I know people say, wait and see how he does this year in regards to recruiting but Blue Blood programs shouldn't need that. This offer reeks of desperation. MadAboutIndiana 1 Quote
HoosierHoops1 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 These latest few names makes me think Morgan and Milton are off the board. I know none of us really know what's going on, but if Morgan and Milton just set dates to visit, why would they be "off the board" now? I get that on the surface it doesn't make sense to offer 2 guys at their position, but maybe it's to ease them into a commitment during their visits, because 2 more guys are waiting in the wings. Hutch89 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 ive seen on other forums that the predicted 2015 would be 3. If that ends up being the case, a Morgan, Milton, and Anunoby would be a pretty solid class.Maybe this would be more ideal for its own thread. But it would be interesting to dive further into who might stay and go after this season and how many potential open scholly spots we'll have next year.Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Quote
Bowhunter Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I think we're OK with Shake and Morgan. CREAN just likes to offer anyone who has a pulse. Quote
