(2017) SF Kris Wilkes to UCLA

I just went to the Texas board lol and O'Bannon was considered their's awhile ago and now its more between UCLA & USC w Texas in as well, but not the perceived favorite. Also Gary Trent has them in his top 3 as well I almost forgot. I know Trent is going to Duke though, but anything could happen. Wilkes is our TOP priority while he's probably 3rd on UCLA's list. O'Bannon is almost just as good and has the family ties to the program & Trent is a better player. I just can't wrap my head around us losing Wilkes when they are so many more basic negatives than coming to IU. He said the little things would make him decide so I'm very confused. UCLA boards didn't even seem like they cared about his recruitment until a month or so ago!!

Not sure if he is just being a troll or if he actually has inside info, but there's a guy by the name of Indy Orange on an Illinois board and he is saying Wilkes is for sure going to IU. Not making the folks there too happy, but it makes for a good laugh if you get the chance to read some of what has been said on there.

If Water comes here a guard leaves. I hope its not CuJo but could be, because with his talent he isn't gonna wanna wait for his turn. This year will be huge if Waters comes. Whoever doesn't get the minutes between CuJo & Green could leave. I think if Durham wasn't coming, Crean would give him a heads up soon. So if that ends up the case it should happen within the next month or so.

Also Meyer said on Twitter IU has a legitimate shot and its not UCLA as a shoe in as some assume. As much as Meyer has insisted Wilkes wasn't coming here in the past that seems like him covering his tracks as Wilkes to IU seems more likely than he thought.

Getting a little ahead of ourselves but I actually agree with Wayne except Hartman. I think he comes back and IU doesn't return one of Cujo, Green, Newkirk, Gelon...or Al doesn't come. Not based on info, just the way I see it
