(2017) PG Paul Scruggs to Xavier

I've thought for awhile now that Scruggs was a little overrated. Yes, a good player but no way can I see him as a frosh starter here unless we have major turnover.  I won't be super upset if the X rumors are true.

Xavier has been and always will be a stepping stool school. Chris Mack will hit a certain level of winning and recruiting and bolt for the 1st big name schools that throws him an offer. Book it.

I don't know if Scruggs is overrated.  I believe part of the ranking for him is projecting him as an PG and not his PG skills today.  If he can become a true point he'll be coveted at the next level for his size at that position along with his outside shooting.  I believe he shot 40+% from deep in AAU.

Bozich has been right far more than he's been wrong in his CB predictions. 

FWIW, he has Waters and Wilkes to IU.  Scruggs to X, Coleman to Texas, and Weatherspoon to MSU.

I can be ok with losing Scruggs if we get Wilkes so hopefully he is right 

Waters im also ok with his height does worry me but that's why it's important to have a tall player who can run the point when needed. 

To be that height and rated so high means he's got talent and hopefully that will be enough to get Langford  

if we add Waters, Wilkes and a big I'll be ecstatic
