Hope everyone is doing well! I want to thank each of you that said prayers for me. I've cursed God. Turned my back on Him, and yet, He still delivers. 2 weeks ago an old friend walked into the bar I was at. Signs were there, and I miserably failed at a kiss. I sent a simple text this past Saturday telling her good luck to her and the girls, as she coaches some of the higher level girls at Claira's gymnastics gym. Fast forward, we basically spent the rest of Saturday late afternoon/evening until about 230 Sunday morning together. Took her and her 6-year-old son to see Black Panther yesterday. Her son's dad is not in the picture, nor will he ever be, so it's a package deal, and I'm good with it. 

Folks here in the office have noticed I'm happy today. Not the fake happy I've been putting out there for the last however many months. Feelings are mutual between us, and she's agreed we'll take it slow. I still have a lot of anger towards Brit and need to work on things with my therapist, but, yeah. Pappy = happy. Never thought I'd be there again.

Love this small family we have here!

Things like this always remind me that things don't happen when we want (or think we need) them.  Even the failing at a kiss- that was part of a design that set things in motion.  These things awe me, so glad for you, and so glad you shared!  Nice to get some sunshine news!

2 arrested for school shooting threats in 2 days at Columbus East High School, 3rd student "questioned". My daughter goes there.  Praying for understanding and change.  Really don't know what to pray for honestly. My kids are afraid to go to school, our school board is not prepared/willing to deal with this issue.

Yeah we had an issue with Huntington North as well. A kid in Kentucky posted something and the Huntington kid reposted with his own theory. We had close to 10 cops at a school with less than 1,000 people. Yeah Natty truly that few go there now. When Natty and I went there was over 1,500. Sad world we live in when you can’t feel safe at High School.

There have been at least 4 or 5 schools down here in the southern part of the state that have had threats in the last week.

Crazy times man. I don’t want to turn this convo into a political convo. So I will just pray for the people on all sides of this situation. Everyone needs help to some degree.

There is less than 1k at hnhs?! Is it still 5/4A?  It was over 2k when I was there. Everyone moving out of Huntington County?

Exactly!  I'll bet I typed and deleted my post about 15 times, trying not to make it political or inflammatory.  Definitely appreciate the prayers- 2 more kids have been "questioned" now.  1 kid is the brother of the first kid arrested, says he's going to "fulfill" his brother's plan tomorrow.  My kids are going to have a day off...

They are 3A now. Everyone is moving out of Huntington after Breyers and UTC shutdown. Pretty sure Wabash Technologies shut down 1 plant and massively minimized the other plant too.

Just wanted to say..I was in a head-on collision today where I probably should have lost my life. I’ve never been much of a prayer guy, but today I just might change that. 


VO5, so glad you’re okay! Prayer is what pulls me through a lot of stuff! God has saved me too a number of times!!
