Stuhoo Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Incredible sporting event. Incredible game. And that’s an understatement. If you haven’t dove in; that’s a you problem. US looks fantastic. Ivory Coast just took a first half lead over Germany. Discuss!! BtownStrength, hoosierfan6157, mike vannice and 1 other 4 Quote
BtownStrength Posted June 20 Posted June 20 USA has looked very sharp so far. Hope Pulisic is able to rest against Turkiye and come back strong in the bracket round. Stuhoo 1 Quote

They’d be stone cold crazy to play him. i was in Foxboro for the Scotland/Morocco match yesterday. One of the best sporting events I’ve ever attended. Scottish are VERY fun to hang out with. Quote

I’ve seen clips online and I really wish a team had their base camp (or actual games) close to me. The people from all these different countries seem to be having a good time. Especially the Scottish. Did they leave you any beer? Quote

They pretty much took over Boston and they were damn happy just to have made the field. Tons of incredibly nice people. Scots and Moroccans hugging it out before and after the game, and all hands rooting for team USA in the pubs pregame. It was epic. mike vannice, 8bucks, BeerBQ and 1 other 3 1 Quote
BeerBQ Posted June 20 Posted June 20 @Stuhoo That looks fantastic. Weve adopted Norway as a team we’re pulling for outside of the US. Im also partial to Germany Stuhoo 1 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted June 21 Posted June 21 No sport can truly match the intensity of soccers highs and lows. No other sport with 20 minutes left can a single score feel like the clincher or the dagger. Does it always play out like that. Of course not but it often feels like that. A single score yet so many emotions. Even early scores can completely throw out the opponents gameplan. Football is a game of inches but soccer is a game of intense moments. 8bucks Posted June 21 Posted June 21 It has been so cool to see all the these venues packed. We always enjoy watching the World Cup games but having them here and having so muc enthusiasm has been awesome. We are headed down to Miami this week to watch Brazil vs Scotland. I will be wearing yellow behind the goal, should be easy to spot right? Stuhoo 1 Quote

LIHoosier Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Damn Scots have taken over Miami too, though in fairness you only need like 7 people to take over a Miami Marlins game. Quote

LIHoosier Posted June 25 Posted June 25 Hey Norway, hope you like crap! Also just watched Scotland/Brazil and going by the crowd, the Scots seemed to forget the minor detail of getting tickets to the match. Quote

To say that Scotland was ‘not good’ tonight is an insult to not-goodness. Quote

The Tartan Army was great though and even being outnumbered 70/30 they were loud and fun. We got lucky with a cool night in Miami too with temps around 87 when the game started. Boston was rocking for that week they were in town. Quote
