I saw that he committed without a visit. I think we just made a HUGE mistake.

Had we taken the time to meet with him, we'd have noticed the obvious flaw -- the kid has no feet. I think this could be a real problem.

Sounds like he was close to committing to USC last night and then IU got word there could be an opening. Wasn’t even on the radar    They studied the film and decided they wanted him.   Full court press today and got his commitment without a visit.  According to Bossi

I’m guessing he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to enroll in the Kelley School of Business.

Like Burton, Lindsay has a very quick first step. That said, it appears he struggled to make shots inside the 3-point line last year.  The guys at @sleepers said he shot 39% on "off the dribble" 3s which is extremely impressive.

It’s not all sunshine and roses with him unfortunately. He was terrible against good teams once conference play started but then he was really good against Utah st in the tourney. He has legitimate nba range when he’s hot and can hit shots off the dribble. I still have faith in the shot but he’s gotta be more consistent against good teams. I find it hard to believe it was conference play that did that, I agree on the timeline.... through 14 games he was avg 17p 45% from 3 on 7+ attempts eFG% 61.. and then fell off hard. 

He did struggle against Michigan (3 points), but had games of...

12 vs Wisconsin

15 vs Seton Hall

19 vs DePaul

18 vs Butler

22 vs BYU 

24 vs Pittsburgh ..... in the first 14 games... 

In the next 18 games he avged 8p and shot 25% from 3

Then lit Utah St up in the tourney. Very weird season... 

 

Regardless of all of that... I'm CONFIDENT he would have been our 2nd best wing last year.
