Dante Allen on Miami seems like a pretty good freshman. I remember a lot of us wishing he'd come here to play with Trent when he decommitted from Nova last year.

Henderson is filling it up for them so far today. Dude is built, just a freshman. Had a great year

Lucas has been great. Didn’t fully assemble his staff until mid April but still got the right players and has a promising future with the freshmen. Lucky them.

Listening to a podcast this morning while running an errand and they said every double digit seed that won in the first round had a NIL budget of 2-3 mil. If Gonzaga is at 2-3 mil then they are just another mid major with a good coach. They won’t be making a final four without some tremendous fortune.

Which is why I believe eventually they will set up a salary cap, and it will have to be reasonable enough that even mid majors willing to produce a winner could meet it or come very close!

The power conferences will be the ones making the rules, and I doubt they care much about the competition of mid majors. I like your optimistic view though
