And the kid he plucked out of nowhere in D2 is probably playing in the NBA next year. He's got 2 more wins and 2 less losses in the NCAA tournament than DDV and he only became a D1 coach last year lol. They don't have a ton of NIL, but it doesn't matter because McCollum clearly knows how to identify underrated talent and develop it. Very wishful thinking IMO that he's going to suddenly flounder because of one player leaving given his track record. If someone wanted a Cig like basketball hire, that's your guy. Quote

Can we fudge a 5 year run at Rutger on his resume so he can be on BTN next year? Stuhoo, BannerVille and RoadRage 1 2 Quote

TTT Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Might be interesting to see if St Louis has anything for Michigan? Can they keep it close? Respectable? Or will it be a 15 to 20 point loss? RoadRage 1 Quote

I dont know if you really are but I hate the McCollum Cig comparisons. Cig built up multiple programs! McCollum dominated D2 with a team that won the conference the year before he started then was great at Drake the one year he was there. And Drake was already built up and running strong from DeVries when McCollum took over! Edited 8 hours ago by BluegrassHoosier859 Home Jersey 1 Quote

Which is quite an accomplishment....but that doesn't automatically mean he is going to have the same success at Iowa. All I'm saying is let's see how he does next season without Stirtz.
