Hovadipo Posted Monday at 07:53 PM Posted Monday at 07:53 PM I've seen some questions about what we'll do to honor the title team within the stadium bowl and have been mulling it over for a while. I created a few rough ideas on the only obvious place I think it can go, where everyone in the stadium can see it. 1) Probably the most likely, but my least favorite is a simple banner. Easy to hang, edit for any future titles, refresh when needed, but doesn't really jive with the architecture and limestone vibe throughout the stadium. 2/3) This is two versions of the same idea. One a simple limestone engraving that keeps consistency with other engravings around the perimeter of the facility and another engraving, but this time with the CFP and IU logos enriched with some color. The only other idea I could come up with, and it doesn't do the accomplishment justice imo, is a smaller secondary flag to fly under the American Flag during games. Would like to hear everyone's thoughts on the best way to throw in every visitor's face that we just won a natty. Home Jersey 1 Quote

Brass Cannon Posted Monday at 07:59 PM Posted Monday at 07:59 PM Honestly I would add a star underneath the Indiana logo at midfield Quote
LIHoosier Posted Monday at 08:10 PM Posted Monday at 08:10 PM Like Armstrong Stadium (pictured), add banners on either side of the scoreboard, one for the national title, one for B1G titles, one for CFP appearances, and one for major bowls. Other banners can be fit in when necessary, And double side them so they're visible from outside the stadium. P.S. They can be much larger in size than the ones they use for soccer, I just needed an example of what I was thinking. Jeff Flabjohns and Hovadipo 2 Quote

Lebowski Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Personally, I'd go the route of designated areas that simply have the year. Something similar to what they do at the Shoe. An area for National Champions, a separate area for Big Ten Champions, an another area for retired numbers. I'm assuming we'll start to see more numbers retired now. Quote
