A lot of officials often try to outsmart themselves and not call an obvious charge like that. I don't think officials need to fear DDV per se, but there's no way we shouldn't get that call at home.

We’ve had about 1 conference home game where calls were our advantage.  It’s been a trend across every coach.  Kinda strange.
