lol. I get it. It’s frustrating to lose to Purdue and to not even have a shot at the game since the opening tip bc the refs biased officiating. as physical as this game is, I think he gets abused and has a fouls within 30 seconds of entering the game.

So what if he does?  He's a freshman who has show flashes.

In my honest opinion DeVries wasted too many scholarships on development players this season. We had 2 guys out all season (injured basically redshirted, 2 guys who are freshmen that never had a shot to play a meaningful minute.) That left us with 8/9 scholarships for our main rotation players. To be good he needed to hit on 6 players out of that 8/9 players. We consistently don’t have 6 guys play well enough to win against good teams this year. Bailey/Conerway were bigger budget players for us and we can say we most likely didn’t get the return we wanted from them. Dorn/DeVries/Alexis can be good players from us but just don’t play well consistently. Wilkerson and Enright have been great. Next year spend the wad of money on 5-6 top guys and we truly don’t need anymore development guys. We have so many now and let’s be honest they aren’t leaving and if they do oh well

It’d be nice. I think to guarantee a spot we need one of osu/msu. But there’s the BTT. I think we have wiggle room but guys like usps follow it closer. When I listened to the Delphi guy I thought he was a little more pessimistic than that but only slightly so.

10/10 in conference and a win in the BTT is enough imo n

Honestly good riddance then. No player on this team is worth begging to stay outside of Lamar who doesn’t have any eligibility

I’m not making a prediction. It’s just in this day and age anyone who loses minutes like that has to be at least considered as a transfer candidate. He seems to like IU though so maybe not. I like him as a prospect.

Won’t surprise me at this point if he’s wearing black and gold next year.  He’s a 7th or 8th man at this point   His inability to shoot free throws all of the sudden aligned with his PT decline.  He’s smart and has a great motor though.  Would like to see what he could give us.

It's ok to coach a kid, and he needs to learn his lesson about playing D

Mentally / confidence wise probably wouldn't do him any good to come in against Purdue and get dominated after not being in the rotation past few games IMO
