Sorry if I missed this somewhere in this thread, but does anybody know why Sisley's numbers were so low? Looks like he played 18 minutes but only 2pts and 3 rebounds. Not completely unexpected for a freshman, but the way he was playing in exhibition I figured he might have a little more production. Only one game I know.

It was the same against Baylor. Wasn't forcing anything and the ball didn't find him. I think as of right now the Marian game was likely the outlier. He'll get better and already physically looks the part. Freshman being a freshman is what I'd chalk it up to.

The walk-ons didn't score in almost 3 minutes at the end of the game. We're doomed. The CDD experiment is a failure, it was fun while it lasted.

I think one of them hit two free throws

This picture is a good reminder to be extremely careful buying tickets in section K. There are seats for sale RIGHT behind the TV cameras. I'd be furious if I ended up there and wasn't aware. I believe it's rows ~32-38 seats ~1-6 you're looking at a camera guy's hole the entire game.

We had seats like that for Kansas.

Just a small observation, not a complaint, but it appeared Enright got beat off the dribble and physically outmatched, more than a few times. Love his fire, but can't wait to see how things shake out, once everyone's healthy. This will be a fun, well coached GROUP to root for.

He did at times.  He also didn’t get any love from the officials.   Got elbowed in the face when a kid created space and no call and when IU was up 40 he got pushed down and got called down the foul.  If that’s a closer game that’s an offensive foul every time

And an added plus about Enright's defensive abilities; him and Conerway are constant on-court reminders to the rest of the team to play every possession angry.

Enright is a defensive culture-setter if there ever was one, and that positive outweighs his physical limitations.

He acquitted himself much better vs Baylor so I’m not worried yet.

Honestly games like that are tough for a player like Enright. It’s tough on the “hustle guys” when the game is a glorified track meet full of alley-oops and quick 3’s. Enright will make his bones annoying tougher opponents and night to night in conferences. Hopefully.

I’m not convinced but we know he’s going to absolutely give it his all.  And be smart about it. 2 traits we’ve lacked on recent teams.
