Does anyone know  how they might chose who goes to the Orange ,Sugar ,Rose ,or Cotton  ? I think its my BIG TEN thinking of I want to go to the Rose Bowl  .

The CFP Management Comittee assigns bowl games based on geography while avoiding giving 1 team a de facto home game. As far as I understand, conference tie ins dont matter if the game is part of the playoff.

Go check out what Disney owns.

Hint: it’s everything.

There have to be some anti-trust things going on with how mega corporations swallow up smaller companies. But corporate and money interests (stockholders) always get away with whatever they want.  It's the way of the world now.

I could be wrong but from I’ve read it sounds as if the top ranked BT team, as long as they are a top 4 “bye team”, will be assigned to the Rose Bowl.

Indiana football is only 7th in the nation according to the below linked ranking.

Wisconsin (not shocked here) sold over $3.1 million.

Several other Big 10 schools appeared on the list, including Minnesota in fifth ($1,038,758.67), Michigan in sixth ($985,266.05), Indiana in seventh ($983,394), Illinois in tenth ($743,690.59) and Michigan State in 11th ($234,016.73).

Adjusted for stadium size, we're around #3 per person!

I graduated both from UW-M and IU-B.  Personally, it was quite a difference in...attitudes...about consuming mass quantities of liquid (brandy, beer...) refreshments up there.

I have corrected my post to show that it was not only B1G schools.  And only 21 schools responded.    There is that, too.

Stadium beer sales data courtesy of Matt Brown who runs the Extra Points newsletter. Averaging over a beer and a half sold per seat is punching in an elite beer-drinking weight class. We're leaving revenue on the table imo. When they jack my season ticket prices up and force me to make another non-deductible donation (typing that made me vomit. Call it a PSL or even just call it a fee; don't piss on my shoes and tell me it's raining), I'll simply ask why they can't charge Big House beer prices to carry some of the load.

This list just tells me that the Midwest is keeping it real baby!! Ball St. even made the list.

The feds at one time would break up or deny the consolidation, but they don't anymore.  You got 4 companies that have about 80 to 85% of the beef market for example, and you wonder why prices skyrocket sometimes.  Need someone with guts to bust them up, but money talks.

This is hilarious. Wisconsin fans spent the entire afternoon victory lapping their beer numbers. Those poor folks can't catch a break.

The only reason that Wisconsin is not at the top of this list is because for a Saturday game they start tailgating Thursday night/Friday morning and have consumed quite a bit of alcohol before ever entering the stadium.

Been there, done that.
