In all seriousness, that might possibly be the best situation for Manning. 1% of it happening, but Texas doesn't seem to be able to maximize his full potential. Or maybe he was overrated, due to his name. MemphisHoosier 1 Quote

Popular Post Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 21, 2025 Popular Post Posted November 21, 2025 Absolutely zero thoughts that little Archie would transfer to IU but IMO his presence would be more of a distraction than a benefit if it were to happen. I don’t know…the distraction wouldn’t come from him, and Cig’s shadow looms large. It wouldn’t be a Bronny James to USC type situation. J34 1 Quote

Hovadipo Posted November 22, 2025 Posted November 22, 2025 The problem with the whole Arch hypothetical is that, again, Arch sucks out loud. He’s not bad because of Sark or Texas, he’s bad because he sucks. Hardwood83, OliviaPope40, Class of '66 Old Fart and 4 others 7 Quote

He tacitly mentions this could be a positive sign that Cherry will join the QB room again, but again lots of guess work at this point so we'll see! Wonder if teams will develop relationships with lower level teams where we can encourage a kid to go and get experience vs being 4th string here. Then if they develop we swoop back in Quote

You help the kid with the right program where he can go and be qb1 or 2 right from the start. They run similar style offense and then if they take off you kind of already have that inside track at least. Quote
