Too bad. Seems young. Talented sports author with a complicated relationship with Knight.

I think when Knight passed I asked about this article that I could no longer find. Someone here—I forget who—found it and graciously posted it. It was from when Knight retired. If you’ve never read SotB it accurately reflects their relationship and is obviously a much shorter read.

RIP. Wrote some wonderful books. The Punch is an extraordinary read.
