Class of '66 Old Fart

IUBB @ Wisconsin - Tuesday, 02.04.25 @ 9:00 ET on Peacock

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking this will be similar to the Purdue game.  We'll keep it close most of the game but find a way to lose in the end.

Have you watched their guards shoot and get to the rim. Best FT shooting team in the country and in the Hall of Calls. Our only hope is if Anti-Homer Anderson is there to help us along.

I don't think this one will be. That's a house of horrors for iu. Wisconsin by 15.

It does, but you know will make your day even longer??? When we lose and you look at your clock and its midnight....lol

First half will determine if I force myself to stay up or not, lol. Let’s break the Kohl Center curse tonight… and please start Luke Goode (ready to be disappointed there)

Wisconsin shoots 85% from the line. Expect the home cooking to get them 30 attempts

I fully expect that. I believe in one of the Zeller years we played @Wiscy and they shot over 35 FT's to our 10-15 FTs. Of course, they narrowly escaped with a W

Of all the times we've been homered beyond belief on that court, that one may have been the worst. We outplayed them for most of the game and I think we were up in the second half, then the refs do what they always do when Wisconsin needs help: start calling fouls away from the ball late in the shot clock. We were down a couple in the last minute and needed a stop, they missed, and Zeller got thrown to the floor. No whistle, we had to foul, we go on to lose. Wisconsin fans then brag about how their style allows them to get calls.

Wisconsin 57-50 Indiana (Jan 26, 2012) Box Score - ESPN

So I was off on the FT discrepancy. Believe this is the game?
