Claxdj01 Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Striplin is better than Meister. She’s stronger, more athletic, more skilled. Why doesn’t she start, and also why has there not been one point this year where Striplin and meister play at the same time? The rotation does not need to be so rigid. Why don’t any of the newcomers ever get a chance to touch the floor? I can’t imagine wiseman being ranked 93 being so bad she can’t crack a lineup over sandvik who doesn’t even attract a defender within 15 feet. Currie-Jenks score 16 a game as freshman at a mid major, we’ve had trouble with mid majors, can’t get 10 seconds of playing time. Lemondola looks the part and is completely terrified of making a decision when she gets the ball and is as prone to tossing up an air ball or turnover as she is making a play. NatHillIV Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 (edited) How come so many gloom-birds come here to roost? Lots of whining and complaints about the best women's basketball coach IU has ever had. We just beat a good Penn State team with a whole bunch of girls hurt. Don't worry, be happy! Compliments to the positive folks! Edited December 8, 2024 by NatHillIV too harsh. There were some good posts Hollywood Mike Miranda, IUHoosierJoe, Stuhoo and 1 other 4 Quote
TTT Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Two post game press conferences now: T. Moren has really been highly complimentary on H. Sandvik and stated she is really a nice player and great teammate. Overall game is really good and has the ability to score more. NatHillIV 1 Quote

Wiseman is no where near ready. I would prefer we don't play the two bigs together. Quote
CSP Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 No Beaumont hurts. She has wiggle to her game and size. Her missing these games is really tough. She needed to experience. What's her injury? How much longer? J34 1 Quote

Per CTM, she's to have knee surgery but as of last week it had not yet been scheduled so earliest would seem to be end of January before she's back on the court. And if she can't go then, maybe just not play her at all and go for a medical redshirt. HoosierHoopster and CSP 2 Quote
TheWatShot Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 One of the flaws of NET rankings: PSU was #56 when we played them yesterday. Because we won by 15, they dropped all the way to 77, turning it into a Quad 2 road win. HoosierHoopster 1 Quote

Just an FYI. 41-80 is Quad Two so borderline Quad Two/Three as discussed in other thread and will remain that way all season. Quote
