Should have not gone for the onside kick. Just idiotic.

Yep. Said the same in a text thread to my friends.

Ryan Day is the most thin skinned coach in America. he was going to try and acore there. Should’ve left it a 17 pt game and lobbied the committee.

Hard to do for a guy like cig tho. I get it.

Well that score probably knocked us out of the CFP!

Probably should. IU had their chance and choked in the bright lights. I thought OSU was more talented, but IU was a better team, I was wrong. Got handled in every facet, including coaching. I'd rather they go to some secondary bowl and finish 12-1 than get embarrassed (again) in the CFP.

Risk to reward. You cannot afford to give up any more points. The risk, to me, was not worth the possible reward. Just a poor decision IMO.

I see that, but if Warde Manuel meant it when he said they watch the games as one of their main criteria then I’m not sure it mattered. Film won’t lie on that game.

I was joking and agreeing with you by showing the futility of the onside kick.

I trust in Cig…but I hope they post mortem their coaching that second half. Some not so great game management…

Cig would have done the same, so I cannot fault Day. Cig made his decision and paid the price.

Let’s go Army.

Need another sec team or psu to go down. Two loss ND probably gets in over IU.

IU won’t even be able to play the common opponent game because ND made purdue look ridiculous.

Looking like Ole Miss is going to go down.

Georgia beating UMASS (what a scheduling joke) so they should move up 10 spots or more.

Ole Miss has some life with a minute left at the Ole Miss 40

They don’t…lol.

Its and ESPN and SEC affair. Film on a 17 point loss would’ve showed us as close except for two bonehead special teams plays. Annoncers were even lobbying for it. Now is just a curb stomping.

This season lined up really great for IU, we seemed to catch everyone at the right time, even this game we had the bye week to prepare. That is not going to happen next season and without Rourke, we may drop to the middle of the pack?

Need to take a long look at the play calling in this game. Multiple times ran for 6-7 yards on first down and then followed up with two passes. We needed to play a ball control game. Keep their offense on the sideline and eat clock.

As much as the special teams put us in a hole too deep to dig out of, the play calling did us no favors
