I thought Goode looked a step slow in the first half, but he has been very very good this half, just hasn’t hit shots that he will.

Malik definitely has expanded his ball handling. He looks like he’s in far better shape to run the floor and defend on the perimeter.

Tuning out on an exhibition, I must be awful. Keep your bad opinions to yourself.

Schematically, for the first 30 minutes of the game, this looked the same as last year. The positives were things like Ballos defensive rebounding, and Rice when he got downhill. That’s not coaching though, that’s talent. 
 

Maybe the last 10 minutes look better but we’ll see when the games matter. I’m real worried about the perimeter d and lack of shooting, nothing from today suggested any meaningful differences in either of those areas. We were just fortunate Tennessee shoots wide open threes as poorly as we do.
