Because if the official is wrong -- and even with review, they are -- that's a double whammy. You lose 15 yards and a player. I'd guess 85% of these calls are just the case of a player being in the wrong place at the wrong time -- so to speak. They're not intentionally going helmet-to-helmet or blatantly trying to injure someone. Quote
