It isn't like they are going to start the season any earlier so what is the problem of playing exhibition games. How many do they need though? If you play two exhibitions, then why do teams still play 7 more games against crap teams? It's not necessarily a flaw on IU... just think CBB non-conference scheduling is boring. 5 minutes ago, Scotty R said: I will watch any IU basketball game over a football game every time. The last two years IU played on a Sunday where the Colts had a chance to clinch a playoff spot and I watched the IU game. That's wild, my guy. Quote

Dave from Dayton Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 Has Indiana released a full schedule with times and broadcast network/streaming? Last year there was a posting about Peacock for a year at a reduced price. Thought that I had seen a schedule with broadcast channels earlier. Anyone have a deal sighted? In Dayton OH, I have Metronet fibre and Hulu TV Live. Still have Peacock, presently for another two months then the subscription is up. Thanks. (Same question for FB.) Quote

B1G usually releases BB dates/times/TV either side of Labor Day so keep your eyes open. FB is usually set 12-13 days ahead of games so we only know the 1st 3 games. We'll probably have a few B1G BB games on [emoji3077] like last year. If we're decent, maybe there's a FB game on there too, most likely FS1 or BTN. Last year, ITH had a 1.99 per month discount, they'll likely offer the same thing again. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk Dave from Dayton 1 Quote

I did the same thing with that Peacock promo last year. They did have a $20/yr special earlier this summer I tried to use, but it wouldn't let me extend my current susbscription with it. Not sure how that will work as the end date gets closer. I will likely extend it, even though last year I only watched about 1 1/2 games on there. Michigan and I think it was Rutgers that I turned off at halftime and then took a little break from IUBB for a little while after that :). Dave from Dayton 1 Quote

Use a different email address (or use your current email address and add a + sign to the end of it) and make a new account to take advantage of any promos they or other streamers offer. Annoying if you set up watchlists and whatnot, but if you just use it for IUBB/live sports it's worth the effort. Dave from Dayton 1 Quote

I like basketball a lot more than football so it is a no brainer to me. Quote

I'm not completely against it, but an odd dynamic. At this rate, in a couple years there will be a full blown pre-season like the NFL. That one with MSU and Tennessee last year was really good and pretty much put Knecht on the map. I'd rather have a real game but I'll be more likely to tune into this than our 3rd actual game against NW Mankato tech. Quote

NBA plays 6 pre season games. I am just confused why this would bother anyone DChoosier 1 Quote

I just don't find any enjoyment in watching us play Eastern ILL/Sam Houston St/SIUE/UNC Greensboro/Miami OH/Chattanooga/Winthrop ...after we just got done scrimmaging Marian, after we just got done scrimmaging Tennessee. All I got. To each their own. Quote
