I lost a good deal of trust with him during the Mullins recruitment. There were several things he was reporting that I knew from someone inside that circle weren't true and then some things he did report, had a different version I was hearing. I remember telling buddies at the time how eye opening it was because I knew things behind the scenes and felt he was either 1) lying/withholding or 2) he just didn't know. I remember at the very end of that recruitment he was reporting IU had the last visit and I knew with 100% certainty that wasn't the case. So a day before UConn makes that last pitch you get the "things change" from him. Just didn't sit well with that.

Did you get a sense of why he was spinning the info? To make an IU source happy or was he just being duped or what?

Honestly no clue. It's why I always felt he just didn't know and wanted to report something. I struggle to think someone in his position would lie but I also know where my info was coming from also shared with others around the area so I found it shocking he wouldn't have it. The end when he was reporting that IU had that final visit, I even reached out to him in a DM and let him know he was 100% wrong and might want to check into it because so many people on Peegs were throwing parties because they felt we had that last visit. He never once replied to me on that or even earlier in the recruitment I messaged him not giving him the info I was told because I didn't want to go down that road but saying maybe you want to dig on "X" a little more. Never ever heard from him. (which is fine)

Barrage of new names have popped up in the past few days.  Here's an updated list from ITH and it includes a name I've not seen mentioned before Kimani Hamilton a 6'7" forward from High Point  --  13.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and one steal in 24.2 minutes per game. Shot 52 percent from the field, 32.2 percent on 3s and 72.3 percent from the free throw line.

As for the Mullins recruitment- he made it very clear he is friends w that family. To me it seemed that he was reporting what that family told him to report, just my opinion though. Most could see right through it

I know what he said about his relationship with the family but I also know where I was getting my information from was lets just say in that "very tight circle". I found it or find it hard to believe this person would be telling secrets and the family telling Rabjohns something different. But do I know for certain that not to be the case? Just found all of it very weird because I normally don't have that inside connection like this to know if what he's sharing is accurate or not.

That’s the same way his old boss Mike Pegram was.  They only trust their “established sources” that they personally know.  Very early in the Crean era, I knew the coach of a player Sampson had offered and Crean visited.  Pegram reported false info related to the visit.  I let him know, but never heard back from him, and he continued to report the false info.

Yeah, it may mean nothing but the fact he didn't post a "hype" video after UK has me wondering if he's saving it for a announcement. Hopefully no but would be par for the course. Did he do other visits before us? If so any hype videos?
