This guy says that Woodson is the reason they didn't pick IU to win the B1G this year. Basically says they have a chance with all the talent they have despite having Woodson as coach.

Many of us on this board have said that exact same thing. This roster is definitely a top 10 rated roster and has the best overall talent in the B10 but nobody ranks them as high as they should because of Woodson.

The first article stated exactly what I saw in the Tennessee exhibition game, giving up too many open 3’s. We were just lucky they missed a lot of them!

Your timestamp indicates a concerning inability to cope with the reality of a Mike Woodson team succeeding even a little bit.

I find it interesting that anyone is posting in this thread immediately after a win at UT and a 40 point exhibition win.

Now I have painted an entirely different picture of myself than any of you labeling me as.   I really think I have the right to criticize, complain and condemn Mike Woodson, because he did us Non-True 50 year plus fan.  Yes, I just quoted Dale Carnegie, not bad from somebody with a Masters Degree. You are all welcome you judgemental a** wipes!!!!

Coaches have made us against the world type of comments, fans should support us, etc  forever. Am I glad he said it?  No, but it rolled right off my back.

Now when he said last year was successful. YIKES, I didn’t like that comment at all.

See my above post!  Now you deeply see where I am coming from and I won’t apologize for it and it will take more than a $6.5 million bought team for me to get over this.  Honestly, it may take more than a National Championship from him for me to ever get past the fact he personally attacked fans!  I will consistently post in this thread until 1) Mike Woodson apologizes to us True True Fans; 2) Mike Woodson gets fired!  We know #1 won’t never happen so you know which one I want.  So yes, I’m stuck between a rock and hard spot because I refused root for us to lose but I want MW gone!  This is what he created and here we are!  I don’t know how old you are Stuhoo, but I’m a pretty forgiving person but it’s hard to forgive actions like that.  But something tells me you haven’t been an IU basketball even half as long as I have!  Until you or anyone else have followed and watched as many IU basketball games as I have, you have no right to judge me for posting in this thread!

Btw, been a fan since 1971, so 50+ years myself.

Masters in 1987, and my daughter was 5th generation graduate of IU.

Just saying… you’re not the only one who has been in it for the long haul. Don’t understand why anyone at our stage of life feels the need to be so virulent about a stupid thing like putting a ball through a hoop

I’m still tight with a good sized group of guys I went to IU with, back in the early RMK days, and 100% of us would be thrilled with a natty and 0% of us would even think about , unless we read this thread (LOL), what he said.
