Coach Curt Cignetti to INDIANA

I will say this on the matter. The last two hires were coordinators and they didn't work out. Maybe try the head coach route. My two favorite IU FB coaches were Mallor and Hep both former HC's

Yeah Kevin Wilson didn't work out... it had nothing to do with his ability to coach on Saturdays or recruit. That dude had it turned around as much as we've seen at IU.

Gerry DiNardo worked out really well. "we need a HC because look, we hired a coordinator one time and it didn't work"... smh.

We hired him from the XFL. We knew it wasn't going to work. Not really the same comparison

Right, that's your opinion. That is great Galen Clavio said that I have absolutely no clue who he is or what Crimsoncast is.

I have no clue who or what that is either but it’s reassuring to know that somebody else realizes what a colossal failure hiring Frye or Hart would be.

Dinardo hadn't coached in college for a few years when we hired him. We don't have anyone like that were looking at.

Whether someone has been a HC or not is irrelevant to me. If KW is a reason you don't hire a coordinator, then DiNardo is a reason a HC isn't the end all be all either.

Crimson Cast is the oldest IU sports Podcast. I don't listen to it, but I know what it is.

I think KW as an assistant was miles above Hart or Frye. Do you disagree with that?

Going by your theory, Dolson knows a hell of lot better than you who to hire.  After all, he has experience as an Athletic Director.

The sad state of affairs in the two revenue generating sports is the direct result of hiring an Athletic Director with Dolson’s qualifications.

Professor at IU, uploads old IU games on youtube, it's the oldest IU related podcast. Anyway, I like how you completely deflected my point, because there's really no rebuttal to it.

I know that Wilson had one the Broyles award once maybe twice at NW and OK. Neither of them have sniffed that award

Because it's an opinion lol ... you and the IU prof can have that opinion. No issue with that. But, I don't share that opinion at all. There was no rebuttal because IDC if you have that opinion, you can have that opinion.

how? He was a HC, a HC at a program far superior to anything mentioned here. His last job before IU isn't relevant to me.

He had a losing conference record at LSU. That should have been your first clue. You have to try to be that bad to do that at LSU. The 3 coaches hired at LSU after DiNardo all won national titles. DiNardo couldn’t beat Vanderbilt.
