And so you'll know, her given name of Nevaeh is heaven spelled backwards.

Caffey is listed as 5'10" and attends Incarnate Word Academy in St. Louis.  Played AAU for Bradley Beal on the EYBL circuit.

For 32 games last season she averaged 8.3p on 49% FG; 42% on 3s; 64% FT.    2.3r; 2.2a; 2.5s; ,3b; 1.7t

I could not find any '23 AAU stats for her.

Nevaeh Caffey, Incarnate Word basketball

A 5-foot-10 junior guard and third-year varsity player, Caffey helped the Red Knights push their nation-best win streak to 104 games with a pair of victories over the weekend during the Holiday Hoopfest in Lehi, Utah. Incarnate Word opened the event with a 71-43 victory against host Lehi as Caffey scored a team-high 22 points, including three 3-pointers, to go along with four rebounds and one steal. The Red Knights then knocked off Las Vegas Centennial 57-46, rallying from a 32-31 halftime deficit. Caffey had 14 points, six rebounds, four steals and two assists. She is averaging 14.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.3 assists for the 4-0 Red Knights after playing in all 32 games last season as the program captured its sixth consecutive state championship and 13th overall.

Her high school team is undefeated (27-0) on the season and yesterday it won a district semifinal game over Pattonville 66-28.  Caffey 9p;  3r;  2a;  0s;  0b;  1t.

26-game averages:  13.5p;  3.0r;  2.3a;  2.4s;  .2b;  1.7t    51% FG; 48% on 3s;  80% FT

In a state championship semifinal game last night, Caffey and teammates beat Rockbridge 65-41.

22p; 3r;  3a;  6s;  1b; 1t              8-13 FG;  4-4 on 3s.

As their head coach, Dan Rolfes, was leaving the arena, he suffered a medical emergency and was undergoing surgery an hour later.  At the hospital he told his wife he wanted the state championship game to be played as scheduled tonight at 6:00.  There's been no further updates this morning.

Caffey and IWA are undefeated state champions with a 53-43 win.  This was the school's 7th consecutive championship and 14th overall.  This win was also the school's 131st in a row.  In the championship game, Caffey with just 7 pts. on a rough 3-14 FG shooting night but she was the team's leading rebounder with 10 and she also had 4 steals.

30-game avg.:  14.0p;  3.2r;  2.3a;  2.8s;  .3b;  1.8t               49% FG;  49% on 3s (38-77);  75% FT

She had 97 reb. on the season of which 40% were offensive.  

I've not seen any further medical updates on their coach.

Caffey hasn't lost in her high school career as the Red Knights own the nation's longest win streak at 131 games. She averaged 14.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2.3 assists per game, helping the program win its seventh straight Class 6 state title.
