I've checked in on other team's message boards from time to time this year. The one thing they all have in common is the hatred for the officiating. I won't argue that it is good, fair, or consistent. But everyone consistently thinks their team gets screwed. I've come to accept it as just the nature of the state of college basketball right now.

Folks dese days are too into their grievances IMO. Suck it up, buttercups; refs aren’t always right and it’s part of the game.

But it's been particularly bad in the B1G for some time. It's pretty hard to ignore what happens playing at Wisconsin, for examp. Notwithstanding that people tend to overemphasize officiating, in the B1G, it is, in fact, bad.

The biggest issue IMO is that the big ten allows a style of play that makes it impossible to call.  Most big ten games would be free throwsthons in other conferences.

it also does to reward contact.  I don’t blame teams for playing that way.  The issue is on the conference thinking that produces a better brand of basketball.

So other team's fans complain about the refs?  Huh.  Learn something new everyday.  lol

I think the inconsistency is what really drives people crazy.   Completely different officiating from half to half and inconsistency between the officials themselves, i.e., one always calling a blocking foul while another always calls a charge.

What it takes to get a fifth foul is also nuts.  Again, not biased, just nuts.  Would have loved for omuryi to have finished the game for Rutgers but he mugged Edey three or four times after his fourth foul before getting number 5.

Scirotto already hit OSU player with taunting MSU bench after he made a 3. Seemed innocuous to me.

Where’s Fred VanFleet when you need him?

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

VanFleet went nuts on the official the other day lol, fine me! and they did

Big back to back threes.

watching OSU the last three days, you can see the talent they have.  Have no idea how they were this bad this year.

The problem with the Bucks is "hero ball."  They got a few players that like to get theirs.

Shooting is pretty well spread out today. Thornton has 16 on 7-14, but Sueing has 12 shots and McNeil 6, and Okpara and Gayle 7 between them
