XJ improved quite a bit. I think Miller has, as well. Race and TJD too. Bates has.

I think Banks, Gunn, Malik are where we can truly judge this staff. Bates can be thrown in there as well. If those guys take the necessary jumps... we start building that culture and that baseline that we need.

I hear you for the most part on these.   I would still be concerned that 3 that you mentioned that improved are super seniors and 1 is a true senior.    TJD while improved still hasn’t took a massive leap.  For me no matter how well he improved on defense and it was a lot he has to expand his game from what evaluators wanted to see when he was a freshman.     Still hasn’t expanded to where people would like to see it in year 4.   Only being the staffs second year was probably wrong of question the player development since they have decided to stay old.   Will get a better evaluation of player development next year.

And go ahead and give us all the insight on "how it works."

If you’re gonna be snarky, glad you’re at least keeping it on an IU board.

Calling the IU basketball team “a bunch of pansies” on the Purdue free board is some really weak sauce.

Just saw where PSU is getting 43% of their points beyond the arc....seems like that could spell trouble for us tonight given our recent defensive struggles.

I have not watched much of PSU, but I assume they reflect their Coach and play tough, hardnosed basketball.

I mean I'll call them pansies here too. And they have been. Soft like Charmin.

My wife buys the recycled environmentally conscious brand. I don't enjoy it in my bathroom, but would love for our team to reflect it's characteristics on the floor. May not be pretty or flashy...but tough and rough from top to bottom, stays together start to finish and always gets the job done.

I'm a medicated wipes kind of guy. You barbarians can let that TP destroy you down there, I've had my bouts, and learned from my mistakes!

No one can seriously be this immature, right?

"Immature" for being honest. You know no one in that program is honest with them. It's just pay em on the back, you're doing great. And you can tell. Because they absolutely break and fall apart in the fact of any adversity and it's been that way for years now.

"You know, this is a long season; it's a marathon.  Am I happy? No, I'm not happy. I hate losing. We were undermanned, but it doesn't matter. You're still playing to win. The first half I was just like, 'You know, come on.' And look, this team, I got to be a little bit of everything with this team. First of all, I got to build 'em up. But I still got to hold 'em accountable. And you're looking at guys, like going nuts on people right now is not the answer. It's just not the answer."

Quotes from Woody?  Nope.  Calipari after losing to South Carolina.

Yeah, can't wait for all of the "Kentucky fans are insane" articles that we always get.

As much as I can't stand cal but he gets it. Too many times dumb fans are like just go chew their butts out blah blah blah. There are times for that but that's not the be-all end-all. Just times you need a pat on the back, sometimes you need to be built up instead of torn down. Every player is different what works for one doesn't mean it works for everyone.

Jayson Tatum said a good chewing out worked him. Said Duke was winning at Virginia but he only had 2 points. Said K came in screaming at him about being soft and how he should have left him in St Louis... Believe Tatum put up like 28 in the 2nd half and they won.
