KY women basketball and K. Brooks on the move by recently getting a couple 5 star at 96 per ESPN 2026 commits Savvy Swords and Maddyn Greenway.  Depth and other high level recruits in the recruiting mix could make championships of some kind in their sights….first year under Brooks 23-8 and ranked 16.

TCU lineup

5’10” Olivia Miles

6’4” Clara Bielefeld

6’7” Clara Silva

6’7” Kennedy Basham

6’8” Sarah Portlock

Very big lineup, but gonna guess also extremely slow.

Robbie Avila St Louis Billikens basketball excellent player in recent interview was asked why he followed and stayed with Josh Schertz his coach.  He stated he recruited him, took a chance on him and has a vision in his development as a player.  Schertz has his best interest at heart and Avila stated he trusts him.
Yarden Garzon should have set down and talked to Avila before jumping ship because both players whether to transfer or not had similarities and paralleled one another in trusting their coach.

And playing time will dwindle quickly if she doesn’t hit shots.

She’s tough, though. Clearly athletically limited. Will Maryland coach want to figure out a system that will get the best out of Yarden? Not so sure if athleticism issues are at a cost.

Maybe a couple plays for Garzon…but not any kind of system….Maryland has other players better than Garzon.  It may take Garzon much of the season to find her way in a new program.  Then, her career will be over.

Former Hoosiers

Maryland. 80 vs Loyola MD 26

Garzon 3 points on 1 of 5 threes 20%, 3 RBs, 6 Assists, 2 steals, 6 turnovers, 1 foul….Garzon just having a blast. Karma Lol

In this game and exhibition game conclusion:       T. Moren was one heck of a coach that made and was the best college coach that Garzon could ever hope to have.

South Carolina vs Grand Canyon

LaMendola 2 points on 1 for 5, 2 RBs, 2 turnovers, 2 Assists, 5 fouls….so cute typical LaMendola.

Yarden made a decision that for whatever reasons she felt was in her best interests.  Maybe it's time to just accept that and move on.  You seem to be overly obsessed about her departure.

Does that make you overly obsessed with my opinion?

Watching the Maryland vs umbc. Don’t know that I am all that afraid of Maryland. Okanawa (I probably butchered the spelling and i apologize) is very good. Other than that, not all that impressive. Have been committed to a full court press that this small school really hasn’t had a problem with.

And I watched the first half and the player is the same. I’m surprised they are so committed at a full court press, she adds little value to it, she’s made several turnovers. Still runs like a potted plant. A few of the turnovers weren’t all on her, could have been a good play maybe,  teammate wasn’t quite ready. 0-4 3s first half. Still runs like the knees don’t bend and just really slow. I’m with you in that coach moren actually got a lot out of her vs what is really there.

Coach Moren is so good; she found a way to get Garzon opportunities at her one elite skill; three point shooting, and managed to hide the major flaws in her game.

T. Moren adjusted team to some Garzon flaws both, defensive and offensive, but not all of them. T. Moren challenged and set plays for Garzon to go and play inside on the offensive end to go along with her 3 point shooting plus getting to ft line.  T.Moren spent a whole season doing this with Garzon and (Garzon did get better at it) a slow and pretty challenging process for Garzon.
