I saw him in the portal at the end of the season, but didn’t add it to our list because he’s been gone a while and I was kinda confused about why he was in the portal, BUT…

Former Hoosier Kristian Pechac re-surfaced at Toledo. He left the program/football in general back in 2019 I think. His dad is on staff at IU.

Wild. Watched film of him destroy Castle in a regional game. I think his JR year.

Kid was a monster, just don’t think he ever loved ball that much which is why I was surprised to see his name on 247’s portal. I just figured it was a mistake.

Interesting.  This kid will certainly be a trivia question some day.  I also guess this means the rumor of him delivering an IU playbook to Purdoo was false.  There's no way you'd bring back somebody who did that

Sampson does need guidance, and quite honestly, this seems to be his last "shot", if this is even to be considered a "shot"....

Definitely some Good Guy Tom stuff here. Knowing the James story, it's hard to fault it, especially now that we know it's a walk-on opportunity. I hope he takes advantage, but won't hold my breath.

I'm not a fan and I don't believe our staff is either, but Brady Allen from Purdue is in the portal. I think he already entered and removed himself once this offseason?

Walk-on…it depends on how walk-on is being defined and will be defined going forward….  And opportunity to work towards non walk on status.  In house unknowns outside and of course….It is IU football.
