Class of '66 Old Fart

#11 IUWBB @ #4/5 Tennessee - Monday, 11/14/22 @ 6:00 on ESPN2

Shortened the bench big time in this one. Probably a great move. I think that’s a move that will cost us some games for IUBB.

Anyway, Moren is a great coach. I remember that poster from a few years back trying to rip her constantly for transfer rate, and it was peculiar, but she was trying to find tough girls it appears that were willing to work. Anyway, proud of this squad. Huge win.

I expect to see the bench expand when Kiandra is back and the younger players get more experience over the next month or two.

IU had a 21-2 edge in fast break points, 21 assists on 28 FGs, and held Tennessee to 39% percent shooting in its own building.

Imagine how bad it would've been if our Ladies hadn't shot only 28% from 3!

No Horston I this one for Tennessee.

When Brown comes back does she back up Holmes and move Geary to back up wings…could be situational.

Biggest take away…IU Ladies won this one @ Tennessee and shooting sub par from 3 ball.  Garzon✔️ needs to continue to come along and Parrish ✔️is playing well and will come along including ft and 3 point shooting as season progresses.  Scalia ✔️will come along in 3 point shooting.

Holmes✔️   Berger✔️   Moore-McNeil✔️
And the young bench will role play when called upon Bargesser ✔️   Meister✔️…and Peterson and rest of bench

Dont think Geary is a wing. I don't think Browne will play much.

This was a very enjoyable game to watch. The Hoosier ladies are talented. I was thoroughly impressed. They outmatched Tennessee most the game and never gave up the lead…and Indiana clearly out-coached Tennessee. The “threatening full-court press” was broken down efficiently with ease, and they had excellent ball movement throughout the game. I’m looking forward to watching more of the IU women’s games.

DAMN we've got us a couple of good ball clubs up in Btown!

Been waiting for the day when IU Men's/Women's do what UCONN did for a while with top Women's/Men's teams, and ours looks like it's a lot more sustainable.

Moren is an absolute home-run hire, she's legit top flight, and Woodson looks to be settling into his groove, both growing their futures here with lots of reason for optimism on the continuing growth (and for the Men resurgence) of both programs.

Maybe just me... But I don't feel like foot long fake eyelashes are good for basketball.

Dude, reading this literally made me spit out my coffee.  I continued to ask myself why she looked so different from the photo they showed of her.  I kept thinking to myself, "She looks extremely ill, or perhaps she hasn't slept in 5 or 6 days".  She looked like she was carrying massive bags under her eyes.  It wasn't until she stepped to the free throw line that I finally realized the eyelashes were so long they were casting dark shadows down her face which made her look like an addict under the raking light.  I was happy to know I didn't need to worry about her health and well-being any longer.  She looked like that by choice.
