I'm guessing UConn is the team to beat here. He does say good things about the IU coaching staff and assembly hall but it might be hard to beat the in-state team which just won the NC.

I'm not sure how big that class be, but do we have an idea who the priorities are? I've been assuming that McNeely, Queen, and Fland were at the top of the board, but have no idea if that's the case.

I think you’re correct about those three, but we would never turn down Betsy, Swartz, Mustaf, or Ngongba.

Plus we're still in on Newell, Boateng, and Harper (although these may be longer shots).

Boateng seems like a legit option.  
 

I believe we are aiming for 4.  
 

Betsey would probably effect McNeeley. And vice versa. 
 

Queen is option 1 for C.   Ngongba and then otherwise the transfer portal. 
 

Then 2 guards/wing..  Mustaf, Schwartz, Givens, Boteng, Fland.

Yup, and add Harper, Newell, Givens, and Boateng to those who we would never turn down.

The 2024 class seems like the springboard to consistently being in the upper echelon of college basketball. Of course we have resources available now that didn't exist in the past. This season feels really important to me in terms of how the future plays out.

My favorite thing in that article, and it’s been in several now , is that Brandon Miller is Nate Oats’ Hood-Schifino. Every wing that talks about Bama says they see him as the next Miller, good comp or not, though, in Betsey’s case that’s not unreasonable.

I think he’s been UConn’s to lose pretty much throughout his process. They were on him so early.
