Just because that is what is next to his name? He doesn’t do anything that Leal can’t. And Johnson should be playing 30+ so it would be a very limited window where we didn’t have someone on the court that doesn’t have “pg” next to their name Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 Food for thought for everyone -- Tarvik stats: Shooting: first, dunks or 'close 2s'; then 'far 2s'; then three pointers. I'll have to look up their definition of close 2's but am guessing its five or six feet and in: TJD: 121/160 (76%), 13/39 (33%), 0/2 (0%) Race: 50/60 (83%), 18/32 (56%), 3/18 (17%) Geronimo: 19/32 (59%), 6/11 (55%), 3/11 (27%) Leal: 5/5 (100%), 0/0, 5/15 (33%) Johnson: 27/42 (64%), 7/30 (23%), 9/25 (36%) Durr: 3/5 (60%), 5/12 (42%), 0/1, (0%) Lander: 6/8 (75%), 0/3 (0%), 3/9 (33%) Galloway: 2/3 (67%), 1/2 (50%), 1/4 (25%) Bates: 5/10 (50%), 9/18 (50%), 11/33 (33%) Phin: 6/16 (38%), 3/15 (20%), 8/26 (31%) Kopp: 1/4 (25%), 16/40 (40%), 16/40 (40%) Stewart: 0/1 (0%), 3/11 (27%), 28/59 (48%) go iu bb 1 Quote

Y'all know my opinion of Lander, but if Phinnissee isn't backing up X at point, it better be Lander. Quote

Need a ball handler off the bench and he's not scoring near enough for how much he has the ball to be thrusted in the starting 5. MikeRoberts 1 Quote

I don’t mean this like “he as a human” but he as a player is a “loser”. He has played more minutes in indiana losses than anyone on the team over the past 4 years, the worst 4 years in indiana basketball history. We’ve seen what playing him big minutes means. Go back and review his career, it’s been bad, really bad - lots and lots of losses, loses where IU was blown out and scored in the 50s and his inability to lead on offense, make others around him better and make things happen is a huge reason Quote

How about the shade that Devonte Green got??? That dude essentially won 2 games by himself his senior year and there were several posters counting the days until he was gone. We've needed some of that outside shooting since he left and based off last night's performance are still in need of. Indiana HS guys are getting far too much slack than those from outside the state, in my mind. I.E. Lander, Phinisee Quote
