Nice shoutout from Trigonis, who runs Pangos. Agree with Stu on the possibility of a reclass, unless it’s just not academically viable . According to the FIBA site, Ndongo turns 19 on New Year’s Day. That would make him an incredibly old ‘23.

30 second, 1:35, and especially the 5:00 mark? Wow -- that looks like a big with a real, live form jumper against high-level competition.

1:05 mark -- composed while on the move.

6:40 mark? Hops

Thoughts Demo?

Baye Abdou Ndongo attends Colorado Prep in Denver.  This nugget from July of this year:  https://www.coprep.org/

Unranked on 247 and nothing on Rivals or ESPN or Hudl.  247 lists him as a 6'8" 220 lb PF.   He lists himself as 6'10" on his Twitter account.  If you're really interested in his production, scan his Twitter account where there's a lot of his game stats he's re-tweeted.  The MaxPrep link below is for '19-'20 when he attended Darrow HS in New Lebanon, NY and played AAU for City Rocks on the EYBL circuit.

This past summer he played for Senegal in the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup and this link is to his stats for the tournament:  https://www.fiba.basketball/world/u19/2021/player/BAYE-ABDOU-NDONGO

Great looking athlete. The best thing about the baseline jumper at 1:35 was the catch. He trips over a defender as the pass is thrown behind him. He makes the catch with 1 hand and comes immediately to balance to get the shot up. Not everybody makes that play. And if that turnaround is actually part of his game and not a flash, woah. I love that he contests everything, though experienced guys would probably put him on the bench with fouls in a couple of minutes early on.

The idea of an athlete like that being a complete nobody in this age where we’re able to follow every minute of a 16 year old kid in Finland just astounds me.

Reclass perhaps?

Might be a good option as long as he's ready academically. As was mentioned elsewhere, he'll be 19 in 2 weeks, so a reclass wouldn't be the same as Lander.

Apparently had a pretty good offer day: USF, New Mexico, Arizona St. Join Wash St, Providence, Bradley in the last week.

There’s a moment in the 1st video at about the :45 mark where he blocks the same kid’s driving dunk attempts back to back and as he’s helping the kid up he says, “Why you keep doing that?” Love it.
