LamarCheeks Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 I'm no math major, but ... If we keep getting 3 points while they keep getting 7 points -- they're gonna pass us by pretty soon. Quote
LIHoosier Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 DJ Matthews on crutches back on the sideline Quote
LIHoosier Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 OK, someone's gotta start getting "hurt" after every play Quote

JerryYeagley23 Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Losing Coach Womack was a lot bigger loss than we gave it credit for. Last year our defense put all kinds of pressure on the QB and he had energy on the sidelines similar to CTA. Our defense is vanilla this year, and our talent is better, so that shouldn’t be the case. thebigweave, Ryno6284 and NashvilleHoosier 3 Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Strange third down call there by WKU. Quote

DBs aren't out making plays and getting to the ball quicker either. Looks like a Wilson defense again. Just sitting back and waiting. Double Down 1 Quote
Double Down Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 I have 31 years of PTSD with IU Football. This season feels like Lucy was finally going to let us kick the ball. Good grief. Quote
theriverpilot Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 WKU’s OC should be tar and feathered after that call. Zappe is torching IU’s super soft secondary and he calls a cutesy inside draw that loses 3 yards. YikesSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

Thinking faster than I could type. Womack had our defense in all sorts of different looks and bringing pressure from everywhere. Coach Warren’s defense looks too predictable. Maybe because he came from Georgia and had a lot better talent so he could just rely on His defensive backs to make plays without doing anything exotic. IDK. Big difference this year. And that’s the biggest variable that changed. We should have opened up the pocket book to keep Womack. Hovadipo, Loaded Chicken Sandwich and Ryno6284 3 Quote
LIHoosier Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Be nice to see a replay if Mullen stepped on the goal line before batting the ball back. Quote
Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 WKU screwing themselves on this drive. Should have stayed with the short and fast pass game. They were killing us. Quote

Yeah -- that was weird. Not only did they not show a decent replay, but the official stood and watched Mullen tip it out -- and about 5 seconds later, he signaled for a touchback. Quote

LIHoosier Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 3 quarters of awful camera work and production and NOW they're gonna try replaying the last punt like the Zapruder film? RaceToTheTop 1 Quote

Not sure we could’ve paid enough to keep Wommack. That dude wanted to lead a program, bad. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 For once, I think the announcers are right. Our guy touched that ball. Jeezus, if you're not gonna catch the punt -- stay the hell away from the ball. Quote
