Tuesday night Cathedral defeated North Central 76-68 in its first round sectional game.  NC played without Joey Brown who's missed a number of recent games due to injury.  Booker played 28 min. scoring 12p on 5-8 FG; 7 reb; 0 asst; 0 stl; 3 blk; 1 TO.  Cathedral plays Tech tonight in a semifinal game.

Booker had foul trouble in the 1st half and scored all 16 of his  points in the 2nd half; 10 coming in the 4th Q as Cathedral beat Tech 69-54 and will play C. J.  Gunn and Lawrence North tonight for the sectional championship.  He also had 7 reb.

Cathedral defeated TH North 52-47 in its early game yesterday.  Booker only played 11 min. and it wasn't due to foul trouble as MaxPreps indicates he had no fouls.  He scored 8 pts on 3-6 FG; 1-1 on 3s; 1-1 FT;   5r    2a    1s    4b    1t.

In the championship game Cathedral beat Ben Davis 72-57.  Per the IndyStar he had 19p   14r    7b

Cathedral will play Bloomington North next Saturday.

He’s a tough one. You don’t see that size and skill set very often.  Snider/Louisville Malik Williams was similar and has kinda been a bust.  But the potential is huge. He’s definitely not a banger and they don’t utilize him enough IMO.  Tough scout. Seems like a kid Michigan State would want.  I know he’s hated here but I’m not sure that’s fully warranted.

Unless we are in real contention for KJ evans i feel like this should be a big priority with how hes been playing lately. I know awhile ago there was some thought he liked us. Has that changed?
