You were stating that MM was game was a fact.  I simply asked where you were reaching that conclusion from and all you've said to this point is it's 'out there everywhere' and that 'connected people have said it'.  What connected people are you referring to?  I'm not saying that it's not the case, just asking for specifics.

I can read lots of stuff on this board, plenty of it contradictory to other things.  If you don't have specifics, just say so.  That's all I've asked for -- names of people/posters who would be in the know who are saying that MM is gone after the season.

I don't think anyone here has a direct connection to MM or his family. Going off of comments from the recruitment, it is believed that he and his family wanted (and believed him to be) a one and done. The thought is that if that is the case and IU was unable to get him to the NBA in a year, he'd either go pro anyways or transfer to somewhere that might do a better job. Kind of like Ware. So as far as I know, it's speculation but not baseless.

That's fine.  The statement that was originally made was stating it as fact that "MM is gone", which is what I was questioning.  Ware going pro makes sense because he's appearing on late first/early second draft boards.  Mgbako isn't appearing on anyone's draft board. As I've said, the number of players who think they are one and dones always exceeds the number who actually are one and dones.

At least before the season during the media Day MM stated his plans are to be here 1 year. Ware said the same thing

This one stings a little. Had an offer under Archie. Didn’t really put it all together at Gonzaga. Entered the portal. No IU contact that I remember hearing about. Goes to Wake Forest is now probably the best guard in the ACC. Sigh

Think about this---- Jake Laravia (Lawerence Central grad) was in the portal after his SO year at IN ST 12p 6r--- doesn't seem like we made a run at him.............. he goes to Wake-- avgs 15p 7r 4a 6'9 230lbs.... if we regulate Race to the bench, who cares if he transfers, and pair Jake with TJD.... what could have been. smh

I believe it's more laziness in the portal, then anything else. Laravia can get points on the block, too.

It’s his system.  McNeeley if Woodson stays will play the three and will be abused offensively and defensively.  He is a college four.  He won’t be able to guard the three and he will not be utilized to his strengths as a three other than standing around like Woodson has done for the most part here.
