He was likely gonna G League his way into playing time. Might as well mature in college hoops. BA47591 and JF87 1 1 Quote

I’m sure this came up around here during his recruitment but I’d forgotten that he’s notably old for his class. Imagine it’s a good decision both developmentally and from a depth of talent pool perspective to stay another year but there’s also some risk given how the League looks at prospects once they turn 21. Home Jersey Posted April 18 Posted April 18 About sums up my view on Mullins returning aside from the fact that shot was no less than top 3 in tournament history. Quote

Somebody posted this graph to Reddit the other day showing the ebbs and flows of NBA draft trends based on years of college eligibility left. Definitely agree that youth goes a long way in their evaluation process, but it looks NIL is changing things based on the trend since 2022. Some risk for sure... but he will also be getting paid millions in college. Probably preferable to the McNeeley 1 and done then G-League path Demo 1 Quote

Home Jersey Posted April 19 Posted April 19 I guess upon further reflection it's probably more like top 5... Smart, NC State, Jenkins, Chalmers to send the title game to OT against Memphis, then Mullins tied at 5 with the Laettner shot. Quote
