Maedhros Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 Got a source? I'm trying and failing to find confirmation online. I've been to Westfield the last two years, it'll be neat if that falls during an evaluation period again. Quote

Uspshoosier Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Looks like college coaches will be allowed back for the Westfield event. It will be an open evaluation period unlike last year year where they were not allowed to attend. Makes the event better for the fan when the coaches are there. Most are very approachable during down time. I’ve had some good conversations with some coaches but only a few that wanted no part of a conversation Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Stromboli 1 Quote
SlamaJamaSisley Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Based on their Twitter "Committed" posts, the Nike Indy Heat 17Us look to be loaded with talent! I'm always interested in seeing how the talent gels into a team. I don't think I missed anyone but may have. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 13, 2020 Author Posted March 13, 2020 Rothstein: Sources: Nike has cancelled both spring live recruiting periods for men's basketball. EYBL Session 1 (Indianapolis, April 17-19) and Session 2 (Atlanta, April 24-26). If this is true, Adidas and Under Armour won't be far behind. Additionally the NCAA sent out a notice to athletic departments that the Recruiting Dead Period will remain in effect until at least April 15th. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 13, 2020 Author Posted March 13, 2020 Corey Evans - Source: adidas has followed suit and has postponed its two live periods events in April that were to be held in Louisville & Council Bluffs, Iowa. Just assume Under Armour follows suit. Quote
Popular Post Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 13, 2020 Author Popular Post Posted March 13, 2020 I was going to wait until the AAU started up in April to roll this out, but now we don't even know if there will be an AAU season. I've tried to build as much of a statistical database as I can on commits, offers and others of possible interest. The amount of info will vary from name to name and that's just the way it is. In the process I've learned that North Carolina sucks in coverage of high school basketball which is why you basically see nothing for Carter Whitt. On the other hand, New Jersey is terrific and I found consistently good box score info for Trey Patterson. So with the sports world having come to a screeching halt, here you go and please remember this is a Best Efforts project. COMMITS # Gms Pts. FGM 3PM FTM Reb Assts. Stls. Blks.
