Our Hoosiers open up tomorrow evening at 8:00 ET against #5 South Carolina. On Friday at 5:45 ET they take on #2 Baylor and on Saturday at 5:45 ET face Washington State. Undefeated No. 17 Indiana heads to the Virgin Islands to take part in the 2019 Paradise Jam. The three-day tournament begins on Thanksgiving night and runs through Saturday in St. Thomas. Sophomore guard Grace Berger was named the program's first Big Ten Player of the Week in nearly three years on Monday. The Louisville, Ky. native's 23-point performance at Florida on Friday earned her the honors as she went 10-for-15 from the floor and had a career-high five steals and three rebounds. She's the first IU player of the week since Amanda Cahill on Dec. 26, 2016. Berger leads the program averaging 17.5 points per game and adding 5.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. She has scored in double figures in three of four games and Indiana is 4-0 for the second-consecutive year and third time under sixth year head coach Teri Moren. It has started the season with four straight wins 15 times in school history. In its first road test of the season, the Hoosiers were paced by Berger and senior forward Brenna Wise in a win at Florida. Wise added 16 points and six rebounds in the victory as IU shot 50 percent from the field.
