Hoosier1984 Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I wonder if this was scheduled after Anthony Harris commitment to UNC. Maybe the staff knows more than we do on maybe moving up a year Being a possibility. Believe we did it with Race graduating a year early.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Hoosier1984 Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Ah gotcha. I’m going to try to reclassify everyone from here on out until we can fill a need this year. Ha. Thanks for the infoSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners ayd, BtownStrength, Kepner and 2 others 5 Quote
Popular Post Chris007 Posted April 24, 2019 Popular Post Posted April 24, 2019 I would bank the rest of the 19 scholarships and offer Leal and Galloway right away. Just me though. Hollywood Mike Miranda, thebigweave, BtownStrength and 7 others 10 Quote

I think we will use one more scholly and play with 12 this year. That'll leave us at least three for 2020, which allows us to offer Leal. mamasa, ALASKA HOOSIER, thebigweave and 1 other 4 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I'd have to go with 007 on this one as well. I think Galloway brings more to the table in terms of overall game. I'm happy to take both but if it's an either/or, I prefer Galloway. Chris007 and thebigweave 2 Quote

BtownBanner6 Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I haven’t seen Leal play, and I only saw Galloway once but was very underwhelmed by him. Didn’t really see anything that said contributor on a BIG championship team. I also understand one game isn’t everything Quote

The one who lost to Edgewood or the one who went on a winning streak. I officiated them twice but didn't have Culver this year. I want both players but if I have to pick I will take Galloway all-around game over Leal's shooting. I think Galloway is ready to guard at the big ten level right now. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Galloway is one tough defender. He pretty much shut down Brooks when CMA played LaLu and Jalen Blackmon was a non-factor when CMA played Marion in the tournament until Galloway picked up his 4th foul. I think Galloway will get more floor burns going after loose balls and he'll get more rebounds. I really do hope we get both but if not, Galloway is my preference. ray and thebigweave 2 Quote

Green shoots it well, Durham was 35% last year up from 29%, and RP was 31%... if RP can improve to 34-35% and Durham to 37-38% and assuming Hunter shoots well (not a stretch) I think we will be fine. barrettballer, Chris007, Class of '66 Old Fart and 8 others 10 1 Quote

He missed 2 Ft with 1 sec left that would of won it in regulation. I still would offer both but I would take leal if only 1. That might change tomorrow though. Kepner Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Interview with Leal on Rivals. Maybe I’m reading too much into his comments on Indiana but they don’t sound great; Indiana: “They have not offered yet. It’s pretty much the same thing. I still talk to them and stay in touch since it’s so close.” https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/four-star-indiana-guard-discusses-where-he-stands-in-recruitment Saw Purdue picked up a 2020 commitment from Jaden Ivey. I’m all in on IU staking Leal and Galloway. Two kids that want to play for IU. They both seem like players that could come back to haunt IU Quote
