Agreed. Especially cause we couldn’t get OG or Tom to go with ASM. If that’s all we had to do to get Bowen I am disappointed in Chuck he couldn’t close it.

Honestly surprised? It was pretty obvious to me. We were involved with all the crooked recruits, just didn't land many of them. They were just taking their part of our 1 million dollar recruiting budget.

The problem is Chuck can’t guarantee it. Nobody owned OG. Not a highly ranked recruit. That’s probably where it fell apart. Lucky for us. We couldn’t give them what they wanted tbh.

This is just the beginning. I have a feeling yahoo sports has a lot more information but is releasing it bit by bit daily to keep it going. If this is the worse IU did we will be fine. A lot less that can be done to us vs. money showing payments like the other schools

Luckily we didn’t get him. Same as Whitehead and other similar players. As Wayne says that shows how far in the weeds we went. Crean also said it would dumb and naive to think any program is 100% clean anymore including his. Before IU was included many were saying there will be changes and no program gets hit hard. I tend to agree with that. Crazy for sure.

It's good that this is all coming out...but the timing of it being right before March Madness is kind of odd, it's like they are trying to ruin the tournament with this news.

My guess is that if we did anything, it'll be like $10,000 to 2 players and we'll lose two scholarships for about 3 years, if the NCAA/FBI actually starts dropping the hammer.

Total speculation. Take this with a shaker of salt.

No I would have to say you had this one pegged. By our level of recruits it’s safe to assume where we were on the dirty scale. Feeling good about it, but I assume we see some changes. Maybe a few programs get hit if the coach directed the meetings. Other than maybe some vacated wins. I would laugh if we had to vacate a Sweet 16. Now that would be the ultimate lasting Creaning.

So Dawkins was dangling Bowen out to anyone and everyone. He wanted OG and Tom, neither who signed with ASM. And Martin is no longer with the program.

I'll sleep just fine. Lots of other programs aren't feeling the same way tonight.
