We're Indiana and there's no good reason that we can't recruit 3 top 15 Good kids.

Likely because they were playing with or against Nate Hinton. That article just laundry lists ranked players who were in the game we watched.

Couple of short blurbs from NY2LA Sports Summer Jam.

Aaron Henry – 2018 – SG/SF – Team Harris
Henry has started to pick up high major offers from the likes of Indiana, Butler and Xavier, and the 6’6 wing from Ben Davis High (Indianapolis, IN) put his full arsenal on display Friday in a high level game against Dreamvision. Henry showed how versatile he can be as a defender thanks to his great athleticism and instincts, and also was very effective as a slasher offensively. If the lefty can improve the consistency on his mid and long range shooting, he could see his list of high major suitors grow exponentially.

Aaron Henry – 2018 – G/F – Team Harris
Team Harris nearly pulled off an upset over DreamVision on Friday. For much of the game, Henry was dominant on both ends. Henry was a pest defensively, playing hard-nosed, aggressive defense and getting his hands on the ball. Against bigger opponents, Henry would wall up, take hits, and make it tough to score on the interior. The 6-foot-6 wing is strong and crafty with the ball. Not fazed by pressure, Henry was poised and blew past defenders to the rim. Holding a couple of high major offers, Henry is rising this week after playing well against some of the best talent in the country.

I really like him. I think his intangibles are off the chart and I really hope he doesn't end up at Purdue!

You can chase "stars" and rating service opinion all day and a lot of the time it works out, but I just have this gut feeling that Henry is a guy you just win with.

We're on the same page. I'd say the 4A state title banner that BD will be hoisting up in November is evidence of that. I think he's Roosevelt Jones ish.

While I'm all for Henry at IU, there were several factors for BD winning state last year. He was clearly the best player on the team during the awesome tournament run but the senior players around him stepped up in a major way. While watching sectionals and regionals there was a feeling that everything was lining up for them to make a run. And major props to coach James (cowboy boots and all) for coaching his butt off during the tournament. Henry rebounded well and when he wanted to get to the basket no one could keep in front of him. He reminded me of Tate from OSU. I was leaning toward wanting him after that run but wanted to see what he would do his senior year if he could follow it up. They didn't have a great year his sophomore year Clearly he has earned his high major love and I still think he should have a spot for next year. Selfishly I would like to go to a lot of his games this year so hopefully he commits to IU early or goes undecided in spring

I think there is still hope we get him. Unfortunately, we are going to prioritize some other positions now.
