But, I'll be sure to overreact when the time comes!

Me too. I'm going to run laps around the outside my house- naked.

Actually........that is a pretty common occurrence, but I'll come up with something special for the occasion.

Has Romeo said "spring" or is that just assumed?

Interesting. So is the staff focusing on another player more than him? Or just not doing enough?

I really don't know. I think the staff can be doing their job and him just interested in something else. Just been told UCLA is out but cool area to visit. He's serious about (4) Vandy, Duke, Kansas, UK. You only get 5 so it's up to the staff to get in there.

I'd love Garland, but if we miss, I really hope we end up with Akinjo

Staff has to prove it on this one. Go get him Archie

What's your order on '18 PG's?

I haven't seen enough on Devoe and Duke to be able to put them in order, so I'm going:

1) Garland - probably a 1 and done, program-changing guy that draws attention from other top tier recruits

2a) Akinjo - After watching him some, I really like his killer instinct and how he gets his teammates involved. Good 4 year guy imo.

2b) Phinisee - Gotta love starting out Archie's first class with a few Indiana guys. Especially taking one from Laughyette

I'd be okay with any of the 3. If we miss on Garland and can afford to wait a year on a PG, I'd be good with going all in on Anthony.

Yeah, I'm aligned with this. I'd take Devoe higher though. He's going to be good for someone. Trusting AM approach here. Going to be watching PG visits closely. It seems most likely it'll be RP.

Rabjohns says RP is a legit 6'1" now. That change how you feel about him being undersized?

If we don't land a PG this year, I'm not ok going all in on 1 PG next year. We need one this year and we can go all in on Anthony without having to worry about not having cover.

That helps if so. If AM thinks he's good enough, so will I.

I still don't love him like others do. Will be paying close attention to him this HS season. Would have liked for him to excel at the AAU level though to build confidence.

A legit 6'1 in shoes or a "we're putting him as 6'1 on the program but he's probably actually a few inches shorter" 6'1? If the former then while I'd still be concerned about his inconsistent play, I'd feel better about him.

I'm of the opinion that you play in shoes so all heights are in their shoes. If they are taller in shoes, it's a bonus.

I'm still of the opinion he is a solid backup PG  the next couple years at worst. It allows us to swing for the fences in future classes at the PG position. As I've said elsewhere this class is about building the base and building in state relationships. This class can set the tone for future classes. It just needs to be solid across the board. Build for a championship later. This thinking is why I will be pleased with any of the prospects listed. Plus Archie is a PG himself. He k led how to develop the position.

I feel the same way about players' heights, that's why I was asking if he's really 6'1 in shoes or if they're saying that that's his height but in reality he's really something like 5'11 in shoes. Like in high school I got my coach to put me as 6'8 when I'm really 6'6 in shoes.

The idea of building strong connections in state only holds if Rob goes on to get what he's promised and has a good career.

If he gets recruited over and never really excels at IU then that is the opposite of building strong relationships in the state.
