Whichever way this goes- expect near dead silence as the decision approaches its conclusion. As leaders near their decision they tend to trust their inner circle and those are folks very close and trustworthy. The best leaders know their inner circle and know info won't be leaked.

I'm just throwing this out there, but why doesn't Mike Brey ever get tossed around as far as a possible candidate? He's obviously laid the groundwork as far as Indiana recruiting and always has a competitive team in a powerhouse conference. For as well as he does at a "football school", I wonder how well he'd do at a "basketball school". I feel like he is extremely underrated

I don't see an announcement made before we lose in the NIT. He won't want that to become a distraction imo. Why wait for Sunday or Monday? That makes no sense. Considering the NIT opens on Tuesday...

If I may, I have one word to describe Mike Brey, meh. He's done just fine at Notre Dame, however, he's not a coach to take a team to the promised land. He's always just seemed to me to be very, meh.

Notice, Albers said the interest is coming from Alford. I've yet to see anyone reputable saying the interest is mutual. Until then, I'm not worrying about it.
