Crean will ALWAYS have excuses.  If nothing else he needs to be fired for constantly making them.

But next year will be on an unbelievable level.

His 2017 recruiting was so lackluster.

Would be a cool class if we weren't losing star power OR if we were Texas Tech.

When did it become a thing that all of these excuses were going to be made? The only time I have heard anything about injuries were when he was asked in interviews if that has hurt them. Of course it has. We aren't healthy, but when we were we weren't good. I seriously think you guys are overthinking any possibility of why he could come back. Nobody here or any other board outside of 247 is thinking about the current injuries.

I was really surprised he got that deep into it. Probably just trying to get clicks honestly. It's a good storyline for CBB writers to have. IU fanbase is enormous.

I really hope Crean gets a solid job after he leaves us though. I think he is gonna be a great guy in a middle of the pack power 5 team or high mid major. Maybe straight up trade for Archie Miller. Have to think Matta is on the hot seat though. People on here have said he would take that job over us. I don't see it but worth noting.

No but a couple years back when we hit a spell like this and the seat got hot a couple articles came out that seemed to be written by Crean himself. Just wondering
