Since he was backed by 0708 and Mile, I figured I'd mention that today Insider said the only hangup with Donovan is timing and he's not sure it's much of a hang up any longer.

Which let's face it if we're in mid April without a head coach being announced it's obvious we're looking NBA.

EDIT:  He could be wrong, but the other respected posters seem to have faith in him at this point.

Yeah if we go that far without a coach it better because we already signed the deal.  Would be livid if we waited and then he backed out after all the other great candidates go elsewhere.

I would hope the administration isn't stupid enough to wait that long on little more than hope and a prayer.  If they pull it off though a hire like Donovan would make us forget all about a missed month of recruiting.

This is why I would like to keep at least Martin on for the recruiting.  Donovan and him could at least agree who to target and Martin could start laying the foundation for Donovan.
