Well, less than two hours until tip and we still don't have a game thread. I guess as a founding father of the tank, I'll take the honors for tonight.

 

I have a feeling we might blow them out..

I don't know how to feel about this one, I'm kind of with you, although my prediction league guess says otherwise. I just can't see us losing this many in a row. ahhhh idk I guess we will see

They hardly ever play well in the barn. This is a big game for Minnesota. They lose this game and that's a huge resume killer. The fact that a loss to IU is a resume killer is ridiculous

Or a resume booster for a struggling IU team. Winning @ Minny(26 rpi) would put a wrench in the tankers plan. It would give IU life. If iu wins this game watch how much their rpi will jump( big if). The bubble is historically terrible this year. Just look at the teams projected in last 4 in as of today.

I think it's pretty safe to say this IU team is not gonna make the NCAA tournament

your optimism is over the top lol. If iu wins the next 4 it would be interesting and would probably get them in but we have to wait and see how they play tonight first lol

I didn't even know IU played tonight. That should tell you a lot. This season is the first time I've missed games in probably 5-6 years.

Maybe be I have seen teams worst then this team get hot at the right time and string together a little streak. Until they can't win 4 more in conference there is a chance to play better basketball and make a run.

I know you watch alot of basketball more than i can but curious what team has been worse then what this hoosier team has been and made the tourney! I am not doubting you but iu is playing really bad ball so bad that going on a winning streak looks out of the question

Syracuse last year started ACC 0-4 and then lost 5 of 6 heading into NCAA including first round of ACC tournament. 19-13 heading into tournament.

Iowa 2013 lost 6 of last 7 heading into the tournament

Same year IU lost 9 of last 14 games heading into the tournament.
Look I'm not saying they will turn it around but I have seen teams struggle and for whatever reason make a little run.
