go iu bb Posted January 4, 2025 Posted January 4, 2025 Tyler Cherry injured his knee while practicing for ND. This must be why the staff went after Bell, just to get another QB for next year. It looks like Cherry will probably have a medical redshirt next year. He'll certainly miss spring and probably all offseason practices. https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/indiana/2025/01/03/indiana-football-qb-tyler-cherry-suffers-knee-injury-questionable-for-fall-iu-hoosiers-center-grove/77438128007/ https://indiana.rivals.com/news/indiana-quarterback-tyler-cherry-injured-in-cfp-prep-questionable-for-2025 RaceToTheTop and MemphisHoosier 2 Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted January 5, 2025 Posted January 5, 2025 Considering getting season tickets for IU football this upcoming season (it's a three hour drive for me...ticket price isn't bad, though). Does anyone know the cost of a season parking pass? Quote

It’s been pretty funny to watch Drew Brees get close to A&M lately. Even said he always wanted to be an Aggie lol. cybergates and MemphisHoosier 2 Quote

Last year it was 10% on the Cig hire. Could be 30-40% this year..: but it’s hard to guess. Imo, assuming we are at least decent, there is a good chance we sell out all the games next year. The two toughest ones will be the 2nd and 3rd games, Kennesaw St and Indiana St., though I think with some promos all those tickets can be sold. Good stuff. Quote

My Tier 1 season ticket cost was $496 last year for 8 games so $62/game and my premium parking pass was $160 so $20/game. My renewal ticket price for 2025 is $476 for 7 games or $68/game and parking pass is $175 so $25/game. So, an increase of 10% and 25% for tickets and parking, respectively. thebigweave, WayneFleekHoosier, 8bucks and 2 others 5 Quote

I wasn’t very clear, I was talking number of season ticket holders increasing, not the price of the tickets. eddy4iu 1 Quote

Still a good bargain based on secondary market pricing experience last year but still surprised at the disparity between tier levels. One would think it would be the other way around? Quote

Upon doing the maths, 65% increase for me. Tickets + parking last year I paid $520. Renewed this year for $860. A lot of that increase was parking, in fairness…$80 > $175 so the ticket price wasn’t as big of an increase as I thought. Not complaining, but a bit of sticker shock this year. Still well worth it.
