akhosrof Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 This loss hurts a lot more than the Nebrasketball loss. Continually so close to breaking through. I wonder what changes CTA will make to the coaching staff. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Changes in the coaching staff to some extent would be expected. I'm more concerned at who will be our QB next year because I just don't have any confidence in Lagow's ability to be 'the man'. Alford Bailey and CrossboneIU22 2 Quote

hsrtxp Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 I mean, he's not wrong...That's inappropriate on Zander's part IMO. New coach, his last game. Leave it unsaid. No reason to put that out there. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners ThompsonHoosier, Class of '66 Old Fart, 8bucks and 3 others 6 Quote
Alford Bailey Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 So often it comes down to special teams. I would expect the new regime to make improvements here. And so hoping we can do something at qb. Quote

If Johns leaves, and Heard and Watson control the game plan, maybe they need a QB with a different skill set. If Johns stays, my guess is that Lagow stays the QB unless King or Ramsey play lights out this spring. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Hovadipo Posted December 29, 2016 Author Posted December 29, 2016 Didn't people say he had issues grasping the play book or something like that? Lagow has a lot of the physical tools, but it sounds like if that is why people are high on King it'd be a lot of what we just saw this past year.... kind ofWilson said that he has playbook issues, but he has the arm talent to be pretty good if he sorts that out. He doesn't have the arm strength of Lagow, but 100x the accuracy. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners KingPG21 1 Quote
barrettballer Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Sorry if this has already been covered but this is my rant concerning last nights game. How is it possible to have a QB play that bad? He was awful. He wasn't very good all year but good lord you gotta make the step sometime has yet to show me anything that makes me confident he will be any better next yearSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Crimson and Cream 1 Quote
Dalton26 Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 I'm curious to see how Peyton Ramsey does in the off season. ThompsonHoosier 1 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app I agree, he deleted the tweet shortly after he posted it. I understand his frustration though. I think he was caught up in emotions after the game and hit send without thinking it through. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
Crimson and Cream Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 He made one pass and it was a TD and yet the entire second half they went back to the inept QB who couldn't move the ball downfield whatsoever. I'd say most IU fans share his frustrations.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Hoosierfan2017 and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
